Controller and Data Protection Officer

For GDRP purposes, Enteris is the controller of your personal information. You can contact our Data Protection Officer at dpo@enterisbiopharma.com.

We will only collect, store, or process your personal information where a proper reason for such processing exists, which will usually, but not always, occur in one of the following ways:

  1. You have affirmatively consented to the collection, storing, or processing of your personal information for one or more purposes. This may occur by you consenting to terms and conditions on our website, consenting to the terms of this Privacy Policy, or actively entering information on our web sites;
  2. Processing your personal information is needed for the completion of an agreement or contract to which you, the Data Subject, are party.;
  3. Processing of your personal information is needed so that Enteris, as a Controller, can comply with a legal obligation. This could occur due to requirements for tax compliance that apply to Enteris.;
  4. Processing of your personal information is needed for Enteris’s legitimate business interests as the Controller, or by a third party, but not when any such interests are outweighed by the interests or fundamental rights and freedoms of you. This could occur, for example, if we need to perform fraud screening as part of a transaction involving our site.

Retention

We retain your personal information for only as long as is required to complete the purpose or purposes we collected it for, including meeting any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements.

To assess the appropriate retention period for personal information, we take into account the amount, type, depth, and sensitivity of the personal information, the potential risks to you stemming from unauthorized use or disclosure of the information, the reason(s) for which we process your personal information and if we can meet those reasons via other methods, the manner in which you provided us the information, and any applicable legal requirements or guidelines. We are legally required to keep basic information about our customers for six years after their last purchase for tax purposes.

Use for new purposes

We may use your personal information for reasons not contained in this Privacy Policy when it is lawful and when the new purpose is appropriately compatible with the original purpose for which the information was collected or given.

Your rights

The GDRP grants you certain remedies and rights regarding your personal information. You may ask us to take the following actions in relation to your personal information that we hold:

  • Opt-out. You may ask us to stop sending you direct marketing communications. You may, however, continue to receive Service-related and other non-marketing emails.

  • Delete. You may ask that we delete your personal information.
  • Transfer. You can ask that we send a machine-readable copy of your personal information to you or another party of your choosing.
  • Object. You can object to our asserted reliance on our legitimate interests as the reason for processing your personal information that impacts your rights.

You can submit these requests by email to dpo@enterisbiopharma.com. In response, we may request certain information from you to confirm your identity and satisfy your request. Applicable law may require or allow us to refuse your request. If we refuse your request, we will inform you why we have done so, subject to any legal restrictions that apply. If you wish to send a complaint about our use of your personal information or our response to any requests related your personal information, you may contact us as described herein or you may submit a complaint to the data protection regulator in your particular jurisdiction.

Cross-Border Data Transfer

If we transfer your personal information out of the EEA to countries not deemed by the European Commission to provide an adequate level of personal information protection, the transfer will be based on one of the safeguards recognized by the European Commission as providing adequate protection for personal information, where required by EU data protection legislation.
